Hello,
After this past F2 tornado it might be time for people to spend a few bucks and put a programmable Emergency type radio on their bedside. CANWARN is not usually activated after hours and most people are a sleep after midnight. The alarm will wake you just ask me.
Mine went off at 12:00 AM and took the initiative and looked on the radar screen to see what was coming since the radio said tornado warnings for Southern Ontario. After reviewing the radar I called my daughter who lives near Wheatley and advised her of the situation. Leamington isn't that far away from her. In the morning she called me and was pretty happy that I had informed her of the situation.
