I am going to link our current IRLP machine (VE3COZ-UHF on 444.325) to reflector 9030 on a more or less permanent basis. This reflector is pretty much Ontario only so I thought it would be a great choice for now at least. To access this reflector, just use a 250.3hz PL tone. If you want to use the repeater as a local repeater, do NOT use the tone. To clarify, with tone OFF=local repeater, with tone=ON you will be transmitting to the IRLP reflector.

As we are looking for a way to connect SW Ontario (Windsor to London to Sarnia) this should prove cost effective. I will try to get the Windsor, London and Sarnia clubs on board with this idea. If there is any conflict, please leave a message on this board or contact ve3ugg@gmail.com directly.

It turns out our IRLP node automatically times out after 30 minutes of no activity. Until this gets resolved, the 24/7 linking scheme will not be available.
